My name is Noam and I speak Hebrew by birth and also fairly good English. There is no doubt that Hebrew is a very difficult language. But Hebrew has a huge advantage over many languages. The words are very short and full of information. It is impossible to read Hebrew without understanding. If you translate a text from English to Hebrew you will need about half of the letters. Lots of information in few words.

To be honest as an Arab speaker, the way Israelis say Hebrew letters is an affront to the ears! The Europeanisation of pronunciation is what gets me! How can you even claim to be Semites when you butchered Hebrew in this way!?
